Ms. Stephanie's essage
Dear Wonder Window and LCoP family,
Welcome to Wonder Window’s Summer program. My name is Stephanie Elliott. I have worked here at Wonder Window for 15 years as the Pre-K teacher and have filled in from time to time as the Director. I am acting as the Interim Director while the search committee continues to seek a permanent Director. I look forward to working with each of you and if you would like to speak with me, please call and set an appointment as I will be both teaching as well as performing office duties.
This summer we have many fun things planned for the children. During the summer, we like to let the kids have a “down time” with no academics. They work hard all year long and it’s time for some fun! We have fun with games, stories, art, music, puppets, water play and much more. We also have weekly Bible themes that are taught and reviewed to show all that God has done for us. We look forward to Vacation Bible School this month.
The preschool VBS will be held the week of June 12th -16th. Preschool students who are enrolled for the summer will be included in all of the VBS activities. If you haven’t already signed the VBS form, please see me or Ms. Kathy to do so. Our School Age children will heve a different date for VBS in July.
This month, our theme will be “the beach”. Our chapel themes will be God Made Land, Sea and Sky, I Take Care of the Earth, and I take Care of My Body.
The School Age class will be selling tickets for and hosting a Spaghetti Dinner on Tuesday, June 27th at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for children under 12. Your ticket includes salad, spaghetti, roll, drink and dessert. Meatless sauce will be available but we will need to know if you want meatless. Letting us know in advance will ensure we have plenty available. We will begin selling tickets on June 1st. All proceeds will be used to fund a special trip to Rush Air Sports.
Each week, all classes will have Water Day. To make it easier for you, you can bring your child’s bathing suit and towel and leave it on Monday and take it home on Fridays. This will make sure the children are able to participate. In addition, we will have a 100% juice snow cone once a week. The children love this special treat.
We are going to have a blast this summer!

W hope to see all of you here for a fun night of food and fellowship. I also want to wish all of the fathers a Happy Father’s Day on June 18th. God bless.

Ahoy, Mates! Welcome to Summer! We will be having an ocean and beach theme for the month of June. We’ll explore beaches, ocean life and tales of adventure as we learn about the world around us and remember how Jesus treasures us. We’ll dive into God’s word with Bible stories, including Jonah and the Whale. Coloring contests, arts and crafts, games, writing and some adventures away from school will fill our days. We look forward to spending time with each of you! As an FYI, Ms. Beverlee will be gone in July as she is getting married! Take care and prepare for adventure!
