Ms. Monica's Message

Welcome back to school family and friends! It’s great to see returning faces and meet new families with the new school year! I can’t tell you how much I’ve enjoyed getting to know everyone!

We’re starting our year with the following curriculum themes: All About Me, School Safety, Apples, Autumn, and Harvest. Your children will be learning about squares and circles, and the numbers 1, 2 and 3. During the year, our weekly alphabetical letters will differ for the 2s/3s and Pre-K classes. 2s and 3s will be learning A, B, and C this month. Pre-K will be learning S, A, and T. Please refer to notes being sent home by your child’s teacher for more information.

Our Wonder Window children are loving chapel and daily worship! God’s love definitely shines through their singing! This month they will be learning about: The Flood, The Birth of Isaac, Joseph Forgives His Brothers, and The Birth of Moses. The Pre-K and School Age Children memorize weekly Bible verses. You can find those by your child’s sign in/out book as well as on our Wonder Window Facebook page.

We would love for you to join us on Sundays for worship service and Sunday school at 9am.

If you’d like to learn more about the foundations of the Lutheran faith and what we’re all about, Pastor Toenjes will begin an Inquirer’s class on Sunday, September 10th at 1030am.

We have some new fun and exciting things planned this year for the children and parents! As always, make sure to stay on top of the informative notes going home as well as the monthly newsletter to stay up to date.

Thoughts, hugs and prayers,

Monica Gutierrez

Happy September parents and families. School has started off to a wonderful start. Our class has been having a wonderful time getting to know each other. Remember to please read the parent letter I sent home on your child’s first day of school. This lets you know our rules and how our class is run on a daily basis.

During September we will be reviewing: our phonic sounds t, i, and p, numbers 3, 4, and 5, the color red, and our shape is a square. Please review everything sent home. This will help greatly in their learning.

We will be having our back to school night on Monday September 11th at 6pm. Please write this date down. All of my students have projects they have worked so hard on that I have held back to specially be displayed that night for them to show you.

Our class would like to say happy 4th birthday to Andress on the 11th and Caterina on the 17th.

God Bless,

Ms. Stephanie

Happy school year parents and families! I am very excited to be with you and your child at Wonder Window this year! We are off to a great start and are ready for a year of learning and growing.

Please make sure you have read through all the information that was sent home on the first day so you are aware of some of the things your child will be doing this year. Look for regular updates on our classroom Facebook page! I’m looking forward to seeing all of you at our Open House on September 11.

This month we will be working with letters t, i, p, and n. During math time we will work with numbers 1 -5. We will have a special Red Day and also Square Day to begin a review of our colors and shapes. Please continue to use the classroom book bags to read to your child daily and review any work that comes home to reinforce what he/she is learning at school.

My favorite time of the morning is sharing Jesus with your child! I pray that their faith will grow this year and their love for their Savior will be strong.

A big HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY to Aubrey this month on the 10th!

God bless you and keep you!
